There are quite a few groups and opportunities to get involved in cool things at the university.

To give you an initial overview, the university group presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at Roter Platz. Anyone can take part in university groups (HSGen), student council initiatives (FSIen) are specifically designed for one or more courses of study.

To get to know the groups that interest you even better, you can take part in their events, which are particularly suitable for networking.

More detailed information is always available from the respective university group or FSI, it is best to check out their Instagram or website and ask if you are unsure about something.

• Orientation Phase of the FSI CBI LSE CEN EnTe in Cauerstr. 4
• Orientation Phase (german) of the FSI MatSci, FSI EEI, FSI IuK, FSI CE, FSI INF, FSI MedTech in Cauerstr. 7-9

October 15th 2025

• Linux-Course by the FSI Computer Science (german, part 1) at 12:15 in room 02.134 in Matrtensstr. 3

October 17th 2025

• Linux-Course by the FSI Computer Science (german, part 2) at 10:15 in room 02.134 in Matrtensstr. 3

October 29 2025

• Board game evening by the FSI ComputerScience starting at 18:00 in rooms 02.133 and 02.134 in Matrtensstr. 3
• Guided Linux-Installation with the FSI Computer Science starting at 6pm in rooms 02.133 and 02.134 in Matrtensstr. 3

 

Be brave and take a look at the offers – HSGen and FSIen are a great way to get to know people and nothing is compulsory. Have lots of fun! 😀
