FAU is constantly working on improving study conditions and adapting them to new challenges. At the Faculty of Engineering, the Commission for Teaching (KfL) is centrally responsible for this.
This committee discusses and coordinates changes to examination regulations, deals with general problems in teaching and confirms decisions made by other committees.
The KfL consists of the Dean of Studies, the Teaching and Studies Officer of the Faculty of Engineering, the chairs of the study commissions, the chair of the Examination Board, representatives of Department L, academic staff and science and art support staff, the Equal Opportunities Officer for Women in Science and Art, the Evaluation Coordinator, various guests and the student representatives.
The student representatives consist of two voting members and two representatives and are responsible for ensuring that the resolutions discussed are actually practicable from a student perspective.
